This page is a rundown of my work so far as a Marketing Executive at Fearless Adventures and Basecamp Skills (now Another Avenue)
Fearless Adventures is a Venture Capital offering more than just Capital. We provide funding and support to founder-led businesses.
Basecamp Skills is an award-winning, fully funded Digital Marketing Bootcamp.
Here, I have worked on projects with Santander UK and Foudys, creating paid advertising assets for Meta. Miniml Netherlands temporarily managing the brand's Netherlands Instagram account, planning, writing and scheduling posts. As well as writing and posting for Liberty Recycling Solutions LinkedIn profile, growing the followingorganically from 0 followers.

I work closely with the Head of Marketing to ideate content, following the content pillars she mapped out. Together, we brainstormed ideas aimed at increasing engagement and boosting brand awareness.
I regularly produce and post high-quality content across multiple platforms, primarily LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok. In addition to this, I actively engage with and share industry-related content.
Organising and producing voxpop style videos at our founder networking events.
For day-to-day social content creation, I use applications like Canva and CapCut, while turning to Illustrator and Photoshop when more advanced design work is required.

I research and write copy for the bi-weekly Fearless Fridays LinkedIn newsletter, which is also uploaded to the blog section of our website.
Every other week, I highlight interesting developments in the Founder/VC space, share new achievements from our portfolio partners, and feature a small business spotlight that explores where they started, where they are now, and what we can learn from their journey.
I also own the Marketing channel on our Fearless Founders Community Platform on Mighty Network, where I provide exclusive content on current trends, platform updates and other valuable marketing advice.

During my first week at Fearless Adventures, I was tasked with designing a billboard to promote Founder Dominic McGregor’s new book, I’m Never Drinking Again.
So, I have now designed a graphic which was featured on the second-largest billboard in Europe. see here

In addition to creating marketing content for Fearless Adventures, I design social media posts ranging from memes to voxpop-style videos and educational content.
I have also been involved in design and copywriting of various promotional email campaigns for upcoming projects and had the opportunity to guest speak on Basecamp skills Bootcamp.

As a Marketer at Fearless Adventures, I have the opportunity to help our portfolio companies with their marketing campaigns. Miniml Refils is expanding to the Netherlands; I have been able to own the planning and posting of Netherlands content by working with their translator while the brand search for a full-time Graphic Designer.
What else am I doing at Fearless?

I help organise and promote events through social media, email, and our community platform on Mighty Networks.
During the events, I capture content to share in real-time and post afterward. It’s also a great opportunity to gather video content with our community members, which I later edit using CapCut and Canva.
Creating email campaigns in Hubspot to promote our networking events to our email subscribers.

PR outreach for Fearless Adventures, sister brands and partners.
Monitor the media for opportunities for Fearless Adventures, Basecamp Skills and Partners.
Research, write and distribute press releases to targeted media on behalf of Fearless Adventures, Basecamp or our portfolio partners.
Case study: Liberty Recycling Solutions
The PR outreach increased the number of followers by approximately 60% over the following week from the first press release. It also gained features in Recycling Today, Portfolio North, The Grocer, and more.

Due to my Adobe skills gained at university, I am also asked to do other graphic design tasks for Dominic and other Fearless projects.

I’ve enrolled in Basecamp’s new apprenticeship: Broadcast and Media Systems Operator Level 3.
As part of my role, I will manage the production and post-production of the podcast, both during my training and afterward.
The podcast room needed a revamp, and I was able to update it with a budget and advice from Callum at Listening Dog Media.

I have also done a lot of PR outreach for Liberty Recycling Solutions and written copy for the brand’s LinkedIn page.
